Early evening lit drop

My brother Nate was a big help in knocking out another precinct in Ward 1. It’s a good thing I printed 3,000 copies of the new piece of literature, because the stack is dwindling quickly.

If you are visiting MikeRasor.com for the first time, welcome! This campaign is about changing the way politics work in Stow. It is about installing accountability. It’s about informing Stowites about the issues. It’s about replacing some of the politicians who have done us wrong.

Please feel free to contact me through this site. I look forward to meeting you.

Mid-day lit drop

My sister suffered through two hours of lit dropping on foot in Ward 1 this afternoon. I took her to Stow Cone as a treat. Nice work, Abby.

Next up is my brother Nate. I’m in the process of pulling him out of his cave to help for the next two hours. If I can’t, I’ll go back to knocking on doors until dark.

Nice to meet you

Welcome to residents living on Bluebird and Robin. It was wonderful meeting 12 of you this afternoon. I planned to meet more of your neighbors this evening, but you can probably look outside the window and see why that’s unlikely. I can bear light rain and clouds. Lightning and torrential downpours a little different. :)

Anyhow, below is a news article from 2003 that might interest you. In 2002, Ron Alexander promised not to run for re-election in 2003. He said this to show that he wasn’t acting in self-interest by opposing term limits. Well, Ron ran again 2003, and again in 2005, and again in 2007, and again in 2009.

This is the sort of politics that goes unnoticed in Stow. Politicians can break promises and it’s no big deal. The biannual beauty contests are over. No longer will you politicians squeak by on name recognition. There should be accountability for lying to voters. Stowites deserve it.
