Mike Rasor is a third-year law student at the University of Akron, where he is ranked No. 6 in his class of 100 students. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Akron Law Review. He also works for the Akron Beacon Journal as the Akron Zips blogger.

In 2003, Mike graduated with a 4.09 GPA from Stow-Munroe Falls High School, where he participated on the golf and wrestling teams and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Stohion newspaper. After high school, he studied journalism at the University of Akron. He was Editor-in-Chief of his college newspaper, the Buchtelite, and wrote for the Akron Beacon Journal and Indianapolis Star. He graduated summa cum laude from UA in May 2007.

Mike attends church regularly at The Chapel in Akron. He volunteers at Haven of Rest Ministries and at Akron Municipal Court as a dispute mediator. He is the son of Robert and Christine Rasor and has two siblings (Nate, 21; Abby, 18).
